Huineng Coal chemical were determined to reach their goal and had faith in Topsoe’s ability to deliver.
In recent years, Chinese policymakers have been promoting the use of clean SNG based on the gasification of domestic stranded coal. Responding to the challenge, Huineng built a large-scale SNG plant near the city of Ordos, in Inner Mongolia. Well aware of the risk involved in such an ambitious undertaking, Huineng contracted Topsoe to design the plant’s methanation section.
