New HTCR plant gives Latin American refinery more affordable hydrogen
Challenge
A refinery in Latin America recently upgraded to a new Topsoe hydrotreater. To make the most of the new unit, management needed
to quickly implement a solution for increasing its supply of pure hydrogen. After considering a number of conventional reformer options,
the refinery chose a Haldor Topsoe Convection Reformer (HTCR) solution.
